Santa's Reindeer

Hi, it is Judy here. Santa Claus’s reindeer are a team of flying reindeer traditionally held to pull the sleigh of Santa Claus and help him deliver Christmas Gifts. Since this week is my turn to choose the challenge I thought reindeer were a fitting theme.

When I think of reindeer I think of course Rudolf and all of the other reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh. There was Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Get your creative hats on and join us this week.

To help you get started have a look at what the Holly Jolly Elves have created.

Holly Jolly Sketch Challenge

Hi Friends!  It's Paige here to introduce our Holly Jolly challenge.  This week we have a terrific sketch to jump start your creativity.  Before we get to the sketch itself, let me tell you that we are being sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps!  Here is a fun read about our sponsor:

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of paper crafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

One lucky winner this week will win seven free digis!

Now on to our sketch!

Have fun with this one, the Design Team sure did!   Check us out!

Inspirational Challenge Winner

Thank you to everyone who joined our photo inspiration challenge.

All the entries were wonderful.

My choice for the top pick and our winner’s badge is #5 by Brenda.

Brenda I love the simple clean design of your cards. The use of the green and the gold/bronze with lots of white space is a great interpretation of the photo image.  Wonderful work!
Please get your Winners badge from the sidebar.

We hope to see you all at our next challenge.... Meighan

Inspirational Photo Challenge

Hi everyone, it is Meighan here and it is my turn to host this week's Challenge.

But before we talk about the challenge, we wanted to let you know that Julie is taking a break for the next couple of months as she is moving house.  I know that she is so excited about her new craft room and who wouldn't!!.

We wanted to wish Julie and her family the best of luck in the move, hope it all goes well!

While Julie is away, Paige Grabau will be joining us.

Hi There!  My name is Paige and I live in a small community in southwestern MN with my husband and our two cats.  We are empty-nesters, as our three adult children: one daughter and two sons, are making their way in the world.  Come December Gary and I will be Grandparents for the first time!  I’m so excited! I’m retired after teaching for 35 years and now I’m enjoying the extra time I have for reading and my favorite hobby: paper crafts!  I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity to be a Guest Designer with the Holly Jolly Team!
We are very excited that Paige will be joining us and if you get chance pop over to her blog and say hello!
Now the challenge this week is An Inspirational Photo challenge.

Now don't you think there are so many creative ideas in this photo.

I love the wonderful colours both traditiional and non-traditional, the Christmas trees, the warm fire, decorations... the list goes on.

To help you get started have a look at what the Holly Jolly Elves have created.

We cannot wait to see what wonderful Christmas creations you come up with from this lovely photo.   But most of all we want you have fun!

The winner is of the Christmas Box challenge is ......

Hello fellow crafters, Judy here, it is my turn this week to pick the winner of the Christmas box challenge. It was pretty quiet here this week at Holly Jolly but all the crafters that participate in the challenge submitted such great entries. Unfortunately I have to pick just one winner and I have chosen Asha’s "Be Jolly" box. Asha used an interesting combination of Spellbinders dies, inks and pattern papers and added such details like a stitched edges, bling and sentiments.

Thanks so much for playing, Asha...be sure to grab our Winner’s Badge.
